Have you ever felt bored when you and your family had to go on a long road trip together, with your kids constantly asking you

Are we there yet?”

Of course it’s boring to stay in the car for hours, endlessly traveling.

Here are 3 real simple road trip games that you can play along with your kids to keep them entertained. It’s easy and there is no need for complicated equipment.

fun roadtrip games

1.  The Alphabet Game.  This game is real simple. Just keep the eyes outside of the car, look for any word starts with the letter “A” on any card of the road signs, billboard or any other objects. Then, yell the word out loud before anyone else can when you find it. Once the word on the sign is used no one else can use it. Alright, now start look for the word starts with the letter “B” and repeat the process again until you get through to the “Z”. The winner is the one who can finish all alphabet first. (for difficult letter such as “Z” you might allow that the word doesn’t have to start with it, but just contain in the letter.)

2.  The License Plate.  This road trip game is also easy and simple but you will need a piece of paper and a pen for it. As you already know, The U.S.A. has 50 states (I hope you know this) and every state has different license plates.  So, mark down your license plate on the paper first and then look for another and write it down. Our winner is the one who can write down the most license plates.

3.  I Spy. This is another classic road trip game. It starts with one person looking around inside or outside the vehicle and then picking any object.  The others have to guess what it is.  The first leader has to give the other players some clue by saying “I spy …” (example: I spy something blue etc.) The clue could be the color, the size, the shape of the object, etc. Then the player who can identify the object correctly becomes  the leader and the repeat the process again.

Alright, these are some simple and easy ideas for road trip games that you can use to kill the boredom and keep your kids amused as well as helping you interact with your kids and make some fun memories together. I hope you have fun in the car on your next road tripใ
